What is your guarantee? Our guarantee is simple: if you are not fully satisfied with your plaque, let us know and we will fully refund your payment or replace the plaque (your choice).

Will you send me a proof before making the plaque? Yes. We always send proofs first.

How long will it take me to get the plaque? We send a proof within 1-2 days after you place the order, and ship the plaque within 1-2 days after receiving your approval. Shipping by FedEx ground takes 1-5 days, depending on your location.

If I order the Front Page style, can I get a different image on the plaque? Yes. We can substitute any of the patent drawings for the one used on the front page by the U.S. Patent Office.

How long have you been in business? Over ten years. Iplax Inc. was started in January, 2001.

Do you make plaques other than patent plaques and trademark plaques? Patent plaques and trademarks plaques are about 95% of our business. However, we have made other plaques, including employee awards, wedding and anniversary plaques, and reproductions of certificates, licenses, journal covers, newspaper articles, etc.

Your prices are lower than other plaque makers. Is the quality the same? Yes. At least as good, and often better. We use the same materials and equipment as the other major plaque makers. We are just willing to accept a lower profit.

Do you keep credit card information? No. Our credit card purchases are processed through authorize.net, one of the largest processors of online credit card transactions.

Do you sell on open account? We have many customers that buy large quantities of plaques on a regular basis – mainly corporations and universities. Most of these customers have open account arrangements so that all they need to do is email a list of patents.

Can you find a patent number for a patent my father got? We will do our best. Just send us your father’s name and any other information and we will search the U.S. Patent Office records – no charge.

Where are you located? Our business is located in Wilmington, NC, down in the Southeastern corner of North Carolina. We are on the east side of town about 3 miles from the Atlantic ocean, so we use the Wrightsville Beach, NC Post Office.
